Contrast

Contrast

Old against new - light against full-bodied

An exciting evening where we test and compare good wines in contrast. Here we begin the wine tasting with Champagne and learn a little about sparkling wine, its history and Champagne as a wine style.

We then taste completely different wines from interesting producers, often typical of their grape, with the aim of recognising and comparing different wine styles. All good representatives of their regions. We go through wine history, production methods and suitable food.

The tasting

A taste journey where differences meet

Discover wine's incredible breadth and variation through a tasting focused on contrasts. Here we explore wines from around the world where the differences are as interesting as the flavours themselves.

How does a crisp, stainless-steel-aged wine differ from a complex, oak-aged one? What happens when we place a light and elegant wine beside a rich, long-aged one? We take you on a journey where nuance is at the centre, from cool climates to warm ones, and from old-world traditions to new-world innovations.

During the tasting you experience how a wine's origin, production and ageing shape its unique expression. By comparing these contrasting styles, you gain a deeper understanding of wine's diversity and a chance to develop your own palate.

This is the tasting for those who love to explore and want to discover how differences create a dynamic and exciting wine experience. Come along and let the flavours speak for themselves.

Not at all. All that is required is curiosity and a palate. I create the tasting so the differences become clear, and we discuss what we have tasted together.
Yes. Is there something special you want to compare or explore? Tell me, and I will build a tasting that suits you.
